YaYa Dreams a Future is an original work conceived, directed and choreographed by Maija García in collaboration with composer Monk Washington and writer/designer Delano Franklin. This multi-disciplinary work imagines the world through the eyes of a young boy living in New York City, exposing his dreams, fears and visions of a life beyond the limitations of a concrete jungle. A cast of characters collect and carry YaYa through adventures beyond the city, expanding his possibilities and encouraging his dreams.
